Storefront Worker bee

Join Our Team as a Shop Attendant/Bartender at Babes Honey Farm / Full and Part-Time / Entry Level

Babe’s Honey Farm is looking for motivated and outgoing individuals to work our storefront and tasting room(s) at our Blenkinsop and Sidney locations. Worker Bees will be responsible for keeping our retail storefront in tiptop shape, helping customers, managing inventory, running our growler bar, and creating a fun atmosphere. Must be able to work independently. You will also be helping with some production tasks like pouring honey, packaging drinks, and labeling boxes. Several positions available at our Blenkinsop and Sidney locations.  Full time and part time positions available.  We are a small, but growing company with room for advancement for those who are interested.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a representative for Babe’s Honey in our store & tasting room. Engage with customers to drive sales and create a fun environment.

  • Stock and maintain product, fill growlers, and run point of sales. 

  • Handle customer inquiries. Answer phone calls and respond to emails. 

  • Clean and maintain the facility.

  • Open, close & cashout. 

  • Aid production staff when necessary: eg filling honey jars, labeling, assisting in bottling run.

Qualifications:

  • Reliable & on time. 

  • Engaging, outgoing, & fun  personality.

  • Strong communication skills & customer service skills. 

  • Be self directed and be able to work independently. 

  • Must be able to lift heavy objects ( 50lbs - kegs). 

  • Experience in retail is an asset. 

  • WHMIS & Food Safety certification is an asset.

  • Experience in retail or sales is an asset.

  • Be able to work and commute to both our Saanich and Sidney locations (preferred )
